Our Journey Towards a Greener Future: Sustainability at Now Training

At Now Training, sustainability is an important part of how we operate, and we believe it is a fundamental responsibility for modern businesses. As Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles become increasingly vital in today’s business landscape, we are committed to leading by example and making a positive impact. We voluntarily monitor our carbon emissions and continually look for practical opportunities to reduce our environmental footprint through targeted, data-driven initiatives.

Powering Our Operations with Clean Energy

A major step in reducing our ecological impact is addressing how we power our day-to-day operations. We are incredibly proud to share that 100% of the gas and electricity supplied to our central office comes from REGO-certified renewable energy sources.

Championing Sustainable Travel

Transport-related emissions are a significant contributor to corporate carbon footprints. To combat this, we have integrated sustainable travel and flexible working into our core culture:

  • Hybrid Working: By adopting flexible working patterns, we significantly reduce the volume of weekly commuting miles, instantly lowering our environmental impact.
  • Electric Vehicle (EV) Scheme: Our internal EV scheme actively supports colleagues in making lower-carbon commuting choices.

This approach is already yielding fantastic, measurable results. In just one year, the proportion of our staff commuting via fully electric vehicles has doubled, rising from 22.2% in 2024/25 to 44.4% in 2025/26.

Measuring Our Impact for a Better Tomorrow

We know that you cannot manage what you do not measure. By tracking our performance year on year, we aim to make informed decisions that support a more sustainable future. Our latest data analysis shows a remarkable 35% reduction in our total transport emissions, dropping from 4.11 Tonnes CO₂e to 2.65 Tonnes CO₂e over the last financial year.

At Now Training, we are dedicated to helping organisations integrate these essential ESG principles through accessible, impactful learning programmes. By committing to these sustainable practices ourselves, we aim to foster a culture of resilience and responsibility that supports the environment while building trust with our clients and stakeholders.

Together, we can shape a more sustainable future.

Why ESG Matters

As businesses face increasing pressure to demonstrate real social responsibility, ESG provides a measurable framework for evaluating corporate impact.

Organisations that embrace these principles do more than just build a positive reputation, they gain a competitive edge through resilience and innovation. By aligning with long-term sustainable goals, businesses can contribute positively to the global economy whilst delivering true value to their stakeholders.
