Modern Slavery Statement for Now Training Ltd.
Introduction
Now Training Ltd is a UK-based company, providing training services to large UK companies and international companies within the UK and EU. We are committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains, in compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Our Commitment
We are dedicated to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking do not take place in any part of our business or supply chains. This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps we have taken to address these issues.
Our Structure, Business, and Supply Chains
Now Training Ltd operates within the training services sector, partnering with various suppliers and business partners across the UK and EU. We recognise the importance of maintaining transparency in our supply chains to prevent modern slavery.
Our Policies and Procedures
We have implemented robust policies and procedures to address modern slavery risks, including due diligence processes and regular risk assessments. Policies include Code of Conduct, Ethics, DEI, Labour Standards and Whistleblowing.
Our Recruitment and People Management
We have processes to ensure that all prospective employees are legally entitled to work in the UK and to safeguard employees from any abuse or coercion.
Training and Awareness
We provide training and awareness programs to our employees to help them identify and prevent modern slavery. This training ensures that our staff are aware of the signs of modern slavery and understand their responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We ensure staff involved in procurement activity are aware of and follow modern slavery procurement guidance on GOV.UK Procurement Policy Note 05/19: Tackling Modern Slavery in Government Supply Chains – GOV.UK
Supplier and Partner Compliance
We require all our partners to adhere to the principles set out in the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and to demonstrate their commitment to ethical practices. Due to the nature of our business, we assess ourselves to have a low risk of modern slavery in our business and supply chains. Our supply chains are limited and we procure goods and services from a restricted range of UK and overseas suppliers. We do not enter into business with any organisation, which knowingly supports or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.
Ongoing Commitment
We are committed to continuously reviewing and improving our practices to combat modern slavery. We will regularly update this statement to reflect any changes in our policies or procedures and to ensure ongoing compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
